My father and I created wooden LED lights as part of a university project where we had complete creative freedom. I decided to use plexiglass and engraved some sketches that I drew when designing my logo. Then I added some of my favorite photos and doodles drawn with white ink about the emotions these images evoke or what I was thinking when I took them.
It meant a lot to me to do this at home in Macedonia and create this video to present to my colleagues in Slovenia.
Four years later, I modified the light so that I could include it in my self-portraits exhibition called "2 Rooms, Pandemic, and Me," where I also had a projection on a building, live music, and lots of great visitors throughout the whole month. That same summer, I moved the exhibition from Skopje to Ohrid, this time in a cafΓ© instead of a gallery, where it filled the space perfectly and received incredible feedback.
